Drumming Circle with Carey Sinclair
Drumming Circle with Carey Sinclair
Join Carey Sinclair for a special opportunity to learn about and experience the Indigenous practice of a drumming circle. Come together as a community to take part in drumming, songs (prayer), wisdom teaching and reflection. This is an exciting opportunity to use your instrument if you have a drum, if not drums will be provided for your use.
A drum is a medicine used as the heartbeat of Mother Earth that is a tool for a connection to and relationship with all living things and Creator. The drum voices our connection to all creation and when we drum together it strengthens our connection to each other.
Carey Sinclair is a Pipe Holder and Knowledge Keeper at the Indigenous Family Centre with a Bachelor of Arts advanced degree and a Diploma in Aboriginal Health and Wellness. For over 20 years, she has been active in the community teaching indigenous spiritual practices, running sweat lodges, and participating in Sun Dance ceremonies. She has the gift of art, song and healing and uniquely incorporates Reiki into her indigenous healing practices. Register by December 29 with the discount code DRUM for 10% off.
